Michigan House Rep. Steve Carra, Chairman of the Grand New Party PAC and leader of the Michigan Freedom Caucus, has introduced a bill that will make it a felony crime for anyone to assist in a child gender transition in the state.

The legislation, House Bill 4257, would make it a felony crime for any individual who “knowingly or intentionally consents to, obtains, or assists with a gender transition procedure for a child.”

Furthermore the legislation bans children from being administered “any testosterone or other androgen given to a biological female in an amount that is larger or more potent than would normally occur naturally in a healthy biological female” or “any estrogen given to a biological male in an amount that is larger or more potent than would normally occur naturally in a healthy biological male.”

It would also ban children from receiving any surgery “that seeks to alter or remove healthy physical or healthy anatomical characteristics or features that are typical for the individual’s biological sex in order to instill or create physiological or anatomical characteristics that resemble a sex different from the individual’s biological sex,” including “a genital or nongenital gender reassignment surgery.”

The legislation additionally bans any “gender transition procedure” that would “alter or remove physical or anatomical characteristics or features that are typical of an individual’s biological sex” or “instill or create physiological or anatomical characteristics that resemble a sex different from an individual’s biological sex” through the use of “puberty-blocking drugs, cross-sex hormones,” or other substances or mechanisms meant to induce “the development of feminizing or masculinizing features in the opposite biological sex.”

The legislation is a response to the abominable trend of children being drugged and mutilated as part of so-called “gender affirming care,” which is growing exponentially as the LGBT agenda seizes hold over civilization:

HB4257 is currently in the House Committee On Criminal Justice. It has been co-sponsored by Reps. Neil Friske, Mike Hoadley, Angela Rigas, Luke Meerman, Rachelle Smit, James DeSana and Joseph Fox.
